Do students have to be nominated by a teacher?
Students do not need to be nominated; any student who has the desire to participate in YEBW is welcome! If you would like to nominate and encourage your students to enroll in YEBW we have put together a packet of information to assist you in promoting this wonderful program and to make your already very difficult job easier.
What if I know a student who wants to participate, but they can’t afford the fee?
The last thing YEBW wants is for a student to be discouraged by the tuition. We want students to be “invested” in the program, so we are more than willing to work with students and families to provide considerable financial assistance, time payments and fund raising efforts!
We have put together a packet to help participates fundraise the money themselves. We encourage families to use the Student’s Guide to Community Fundraising and to apply for financial assistance (
download a financial aid form).
What type of students can attend?
Any student with the sheer desire and openness to learn! We believe that the future belongs not to the students with the best grades, but to all students who have a desire to reach their goals.
Can you come speak to my students about YEBW?

Do you have opportunities for professional development for teachers?
As we grow as an organization we are looking to expand our outreach to meet the needs of teachers. We understand your job has become increasingly more difficult, and we look forward to working with and for you. We will be launching an Educator’s Business Week Summer of 2010. If you want to be kept informed of future opportunities for continuing education,
add your name to our list!
