When is it?
July 25-31, 2010

Where is it?
Young Entrepreneurs Business Week will be hosted on campus at Oregon State University.

What time should I arrive on campus?
Plan to arrive on campus between 9:00am - 12:00pm Sunday July 25th. Opening Assembly begins promptly at 12:00 pm (noon), so the earlier the better! The opening assembly sets the stage for what you will experience during the week; you must attend unless otherwise arranged with YEBW Staff and volunteers. We strongly encourage parents to attend.

How do I get selected?
Download and complete the application and essay or contact our office to have one mailed. If you wish to share a dorm room with a friend, complete the Roommate Request section on the application. After review of your application you will be notified of your acceptance status. At this time, you will receive medical and code of conduct forms that must be completed and returned. Receipt of these forms and the registration fee will confirm your attendance to YEBW.

Additionally you will receive program information about the week, including information about campus life, what to bring, and directions.

Have a job conflict?
If requested, we will contact your employer to explain the program and the benefits of your attendance. If you require this assistance, please include the request in your application or contact our office.

Paying for YEBW?
YEBW is fortunate to have fantastic sponsors who want students to attend our programs, and every student is partially sponsored to attend by a member of our business and civic community.

All students are asked to go to our website www.yebw.org to determine how much they need to raise in order to attend YEBW.

Pay Your Own Way
The program fee for YEBW is $695.  We do not want money to be the reason why a student does not attend, please see information about our generous financial assistance.  Students and their families can pay for YEBW with a personal check or by credit card.

Use our Student’s Guide to Community Fundraising
This year we are making a special request by challenging to all of our participants to demonstrate their entrepreneurial drive. We would like all students to:
• Utilize our Student’s Guide to Community Fundraising which has a step by step process to assist participants in paying for the program.

Generous Financial Aid Available
We believe that any student should be able to attend YEBW even they are not able to afford the tuition fee. For those who qualify, YEBW has some matching financial assistance available.
All Families applying for matching financial assistance, must complete our Student’s Guide to Community Fundraising along with the Financial Assistance Application.  We have just extended our May 10th deadline, but funds are still available on a first come, first serve basis, so please mail your application as soon as possible!
